LEV Madrid 2022 Festival: general informationThe LEV Madrid festival is an electronic music festival that in addition to including a musical program with the great references of the national and international scene also includes activities of virtual reality experiences. This festival has celebrated 13 editions in the city of Gijón, but in 2019 it expanded its borders and added another venue in Madrid.
LEV Madrid is held at the Centro Cutural Matadero in Madrid, although it also uses as stages other places such as Nave 0, Plaza Matadero or Cineteca Madrid. In addition, in its first edition held in Madrid in 2019, it added a new section, Vortex, which is dedicated to new formats of digital composition and also to virtual worlds.
The edition planned for 2020 could not be held due to pandemic conditions, but last September 2021 its second edition took place and artists such as Scanner, Grischa Lichtenberger, Zoe McPherson & Alessandra Leone, Lee Gamble & Clifford Sage, Varg²™ & Croatian Amor, Bromo, Crudha & Judith Adataberna and Ivankovà & Álvaro Chiorwere present.
LEV Madrid is expected to come back to Madrid in 2022, although the dates are still to be determined.

LEV Madrid festival is held in the city of Madrid, and has its main stage at the Matadero Cultural Center. Moreover, as we have mentioned before, some of its shows also take place in venues such as Nave 0, Plaza Matadero or Cineteca Madrid.

How to get to LEV Madrid
To get to the main venue of the festival, Centro Cultural Matadero de Madrid, from Topfestivales we suggest you the following options:
- Plane: the closest airport to the festival is Madrid-Barajas. Once there the trains number 5 and 6 will help you to get to the festival. First you will have to take the line 5 from Alameda de Osuna to Diego De León and there transfer to the line 6 that will take you to Legazpi, a few meters from the venue.
- Train: your train will leave you at Atocha Station. There you can take bus number 8 or 85, which will also stop at Legazpi, where you will have to get off and walk a few metres to the venue.
- Car: the most comfortable and flexible option, and with google maps you won't get lost! This option can also be done with a rental car or in a shared trip in blablacar.
- Taxi: to go from the airport or from the train station, you can also take a taxi to take you from there to the festival, although it is the most expensive option.
